US Court of International Trade orders IEEPA Refunds

 On March 4th, the US Court of International Trade (CIT) ordered that unliquidated entries entered subject to IEEPA duties be liquidated without regard to IEEPA duties, and liquidated entries where liquidation is not final be reliquidated without regard to IEEPA duties.

Given the newness of this order, there are still many unknowns with regard to how CBP will respond to and apply this ruling. At minimum, importers should ensure that they are set up with ACH Refund in ACE as refunds are no longer issued via paper check. Tradewin is monitoring this situation and will provide updates as we learn more.
