2023 was a good year for trade in Vietnam. According to the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, the import and export goods turnover in Vietnam reached 683 billion USD, with a trade surplus of 26 billion USD, more than double that in 2022.

Over the past few years, we have observed an increasing need from our customers relating to challenges they faced in Vietnam. So, announcing that Tradewin has expanded our services to Vietnam will likely be the highlight of 2024 for me.

Our consulting practice, located in Hanoi, will be led by Hong Son Nguyen. He is a seasoned customs and trade professional with over 25 years of experience working for Customs, in-house trade compliance, and as a director within the consulting industry. I am confident that Son’s diverse expertise will elevate our network of global consulting practices.

The Vietnam practice will cater to a wide array of advisory and trade compliance support services, including Customs and trade planning, classification support, Customs valuation, FTA analysis, Customs audit support, dispute resolution, AEO and licensing support, etc.

If you have experienced any challenges in Vietnam regarding customs and trade or if you simply have any queries, please reach out to us. We look forward to helping you.
