While we are all enjoying the warm months of summer, we know that winter is coming. We may not want to think about it, but it’s inevitable.

It has been a couple of months since the implementation date of CARM was moved to October. While many importers were prepared and maybe disappointed, many were not. So, those in the “not prepared” group have some time to get on the program…literally.

This may not be a bad thing. I commend the CBSA for having the foresight to identify some operational issues and push the date to perfect the platform. The extended start date allows importers the opportunity to take the time and get it right. The date for CARM to be operational is now October 21, 2024.

Like winter, CARM is coming. If you are not set up on the portal, the time is now. Tradewin is committed to supporting businesses throughout the entire CARM implementation process. Contact us if you need any support as the deadline approaches
