As I drove to the office today, I was looking back into my rear view mirror at 2018. All of the plans and ideas that I would like to accomplish in 2019 began rushing through my head like a flood.
Perhaps it was the recharging of my batteries over the holidays or the deluge of articles predicting the future that pop up on January 1st, like mushrooms after rain.
I will say this, the future and 2019 will be an adventure.
Throughout 2018 I felt an acceleration of events in trade, from the rising trade tensions and tariffs to Brexit, to potential conflicts around the world.
That acceleration will only intensify in the coming months.
That being said, regardless of the environment, we can always be calm, prepared, and kind.
Perhaps that last is the most important.
